All in all? A good machine with a few quirks I’d prefer differently but would recommend. Kind of annoying to deal with when all you want is a quick cup of coffee on the morning and the system makes you clean something first (that you haven’t even used). Very simple to use! It also makes you clean the milk tube every few uses even if the milk tube hasn’t been used. Seems like a lot of wasted water and you have to remove the water trap more often to pour out. It also seems to leak a lot of water in the water tray which is fine, but my old one never did that unless it was cleaning the system at shutoff. There is a whole to pour water into the container so you don’t have to remove the water tank but then you have to dirty up a giant pitcher that holds a fair amount of water every time. A simple beep or message notifying you the machine needs water is all that’s needed. It also beeps at you the entire t ime you take the water container out to fill it. Not a big deal, but is a little annoying early in the morning when people are still asleep. I will say it’s much noisier than our last espresso/coffee machine which was a Jura Ena. The machine is super easy to use, and makes good coffee, albeit very strong in flavor. I suggest you wait for it to go on sale as I bought mine for $649. You may be fine just by setting the machine to extra hot in the settings mode. So after it is dispensed I put the cup in the microwave for 20 seconds. even at the hottest setting I am not satisfied with the temperature of a cup of cappuccino. Then I hit the button for a glass of frothed milk, for a nice big cup. Here's a trick I use, I take a 12 ounce mug and hit the button for a double espresso. This process is twice as long as a regular froth cleaning and is necessary. About every 10 cups of cappuccino you should go into the programming mode and do a stream clean of the milk frother with hot water as we did before. This means removing the outer part of the milk frother and sliding out the entire chrome tray. Every 8 or 9 cups you have to empty the used coffee clumps from inside the machine. I say to catch the water in a jar so you don't have to empty the water catch tray as often.

Put the milk hose into a water bottle full of hot water and a jar under the milk spout on the machine and let it rinse. Every time you turn on off or on the machine will ask if you need to rinse the milk system. Increase coffee strength to 3 beans and milk to 70% and your standard coffee cup will be filled with a tasty cappuccino.

You will have to go into programming mode to set it so that it gives you a decen t size cup full. Right out of the box, after you fill it with coffee beans and water, then drop the hose into the milk, it will make you a coffee that puts Starbucks to shame. OK, so here is a real unvarnished review by a real purchaser.
